In the event of inclement weather, Tiny Tots will follow the decision of the Eugene 4J School District regarding closures. If schools are closed or on a delay, Tiny Tots will be considered closed and the openers/closers will not be required to fulfill their duty (although their duties will still be counted as complete).

We follow the 4J school district regarding closures. For example, if 4J were on a delay, an opener wouldn’t have to come in to open Tiny Tots. Around noon, 4J will announce their afternoon schedule. In the event that 4J announces that afternoon programs will be happening, closers and/or cleaners will be expected to complete duties. However, if you do not feel safe driving, or are otherwise unable to come in, you can contact the sub and schedule a make-up duty. If 4J announces that afternoon activities are cancelled, then closers and/or cleaners are not expected to close.
