We’re gearing up for Member Orientation, this Tuesday night, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. We’re aiming for a one-hour event that will take you through all of the new policies and procedures (like online payment and scheduling) as well as a review of some of the trickier pieces of the handbook (how do I set up/close? when should I call a sub? where does my money go?).

Scheduling for the fall term will also start during orientation. So bring your calendars — and, if you have it, your smartphone! — to get set up with fall shifts for opening, closing, sub duties, and toy cleanings.

As a bonus, this year, we’ll be having two raffles for members!

• Bring a roll of paper towels, a bottle of hand sanitizer, or a box of Kleenex to get one raffle ticket toward a Free Duty/Shift Raffle! The winner will get one shift off for this term. You can bring up to five items, for five total entries!
• Buy a Get Out of Fall Duties Raffle ticket for a chance to win NO opening/closing duties for the entire fall term! Tickets will be on sale at orientation, or you can buy them early through our Square store for $10 a ticket or 3/$25. All proceeds from this sale will go directly into our toy fund to help us purchase some of the big ticket wish list items this year.
