Happy Spring Break! We’ve got one more term left before we take a break for summer, so let’s make it count! We’ve got some great activities coming up this term, so don’t miss out! We’ll be “cooking” up a good time, trying to teach our kids some important lessons, planning our Carnival and getting next year’s Board established so we can have a smooth and successful transition to next year.
On Saturday May 12th will be our Spring Carnival. This is always Tiny Tot’s biggest event! It’s not only for members, but for those interested in joining for next year. Members here’s your chance to volunteer or we’d love to hear your input on some fun ideas for our Carnival. Let’s make it a great send-off into Summer!
Did you know kids are usually less picky about eating when they get to help in the kitchen? Our Board Member Amy Van Dyke would like to offer a kids “cooking” class this term. Look for more information to come on dates and times. Let’s cook up some fun!
Also, now is the time to start establishing next year’s Board. Have some terrific ideas you think could make Tiny Tots even better? We welcome excited, enthusiastic members who understand that it takes the commitment of all in the co-op to make it a success. Board Members pay no dues and are not responsible for Open/Close/Toy Cleaning duties except on a fill-in basis, so your commitment is to coordinating the fun activities, membership cooperation, PR and behind-the-scenes work required to keep Tiny Tots part of our community. Please contact the current board at board@tinytotscoop.org if you are interested. Even new members can be on the Board! We hope to establish the new Board early to allow plenty of cooperation between the out-going and in-coming board for the smoothest transition possible.
Finally, our Director Monica is hoping to get EPD to give Tiny Tots families an important lesson about “Stranger Danger”. Keep your eyes and ears out for future announcment about this very important topic.
